 Chocolate muffins are a must in every house, seeing the fact that they can be taken with any drink ... at any time ... needless to mention how delicious they are .... surprisingly, they are so easy to make! So follow with me, to see the steps.

 What are you gonna need?


• 2 cups of flour.

 • 1/3 of cocoa powder.

• 1 tablespoon of baking powder

• Half a tablespoon of baking soda.

 • Pinch of salt

• Half cup of granulated sugar

• Chocolate.

• 5 tablespoons of unsalted butter.

• 1 cup of milk

• 1 egg

• Vanilla extract.

• Chocolate chips.

 How to make it?


 First, in a large vessel, put the flour with the cocoa powder. Add the baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and a pinch of salt.

 Note! Before we continue, It is preferable while making any kind of muffins of cupcakes, to mix the dry ingredients together especially the baking powder with the flour, then to add the liquids. Because if you pour any liquid, be it oil, melted butter or milk, to the baking powder, its efficiency will only be on the liquid ... and thus it will fall while making it

. It will not be as fluffy as it should. Now, whisk all the dry ingredients together and put the vessel aside. We move now to the liquids, in a vessel put the chocolate ( 110 g ) any kind that you prefer.

Add the unsalted butter and put it in a microwave for 1 min. Mix it a little until they melt into each other. In another vessel, put the buttermilk, one egg, and the vanilla extract. Mix it a little. It is time to make it magical !

 Add the melted butter and chocolate to the dry ingredients, mix it up a little. Then add the milk and egg. Whisk it well until you have a batter that is neither too hard nor too liquid. Here you have to use your spatula to make sure all the ingredients are well mixed. You can add some chocolate chips here, in order to give it a more of a vintage taste.

 Now that the batter is ready, in a cupcake pan line up some paper cups and put the batter using a spoon if you are used to using it. If you are a beginner it is preferable to use an ice creme scoop to put the batter in the cups. Finally, put them in the oven for 20 to 22 min. 375° or 190°c.

Some tips :


1. While they are being baked, don't open the oven. If you do and they are not solid, they will fall. And their volume will decrease.

2. After 20 min in the oven, take a wooden stick, and stick it in one of the muffins, if it comes out without any batter, it means it well cooked. It has some batter, it means it needs some more time.

 3. You had better not eat them while they are still hot. Because you may have some stomachaches!!! Let them chill then eat as much as you want. Hope you like it! Enjoy your muffins.
